Faiza Riaz is an associate director with APCO based in Los Angeles and a member of the firm’s Impact team. She specializes in high-impact philanthropic strategy for brands, non-profits, foundations, and high-profile and high-net-worth individuals.
Most recently, Faiza held a similar role at Global Philanthropy Group, a boutique philanthropic consulting firm acquired by APCO in early 2021. For more than five years, Faiza has helped clients, from Fortune 500 companies to celebrity foundations, drive impact on a range of issues including gender equality, sustainability, global health, and human rights in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
Prior to APCO, Faiza served on the communications team for UN Women’s National Committee in Los Angeles, where she implemented UN Women global flagship campaigns at a local level. Her experience also includes managing partnerships for an organization dedicated to improving water access, sanitation, and hygiene in Uganda.
Faiza received her BA in Political Science and International Development from UCLA and is fluent in Urdu and French.
