Stefany Zaroban is a director with APCO Insight and based in Phoenix. She specializes in PR strategy, analytics and consumer research.

Prior to joining APCO, Ms. Zaroban led PR analytics and measurement at Golin for top consumer brands such as Walmart and Allstate. There, she developed a first-of-its-kind, data-backed approach for identifying cultural trends, as well as a proprietary model for driving strategy in executive relevance programs. Before that, she managed the consumer research division at Tribune Publishing, where she spearheaded a voice-of-the-customer program that drove foundational change at top metro newspapers such as The Chicago Tribune and New York Daily News. She also spent seven years at the B2B trade publication Digital Commerce 360, where she built a research division that launched more than a dozen digital, print and subscription-based research products about the e-commerce industry.

Early in her career, she was a night crime reporter for The Boston Globe, a freelance travel writer and ran a campaign office in Wisconsin for Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.

Ms. Zaroban holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University.
