Sture Alne is an Associate Director within APCO’s Brussels Health practice. His responsibilities include managing and executing EU public affairs campaigns on behalf of various clients in the health care and pharmaceutical sectors. This work includes public affairs support, policy research and market access campaigns for clients as well as acting as a secretariat for the European Thrombosis and Haemostasis Alliance.
Prior to joining APCO, Mr. Alne worked for Novartis as a policy assistant, as a consultant at the Huggard Consulting Group (Luxembourg) and as an associate technical officer and consultant at the World Health Organisation office to the EU, Brussels. He has also completed a traineeship at the Norwegian Embassy in Romania.
Mr. Alne holds an M.Phil degree in Political Science from the University of Oslo and the Free University of Berlin. In addition to his native Norwegian, he speaks English, the Scandinavian languages, German and he has a conversational level of Romanian.
