Kim Gagné is a senior advisor with extensive experience in the worlds of government relations, diplomacy, and law. He specializes in issues-based campaigning and serves as Executive Director of the European Cloud Alliance, a business coalition focused on policy issues related to cloud computing.
Prior to joining APCO, Mr. Gagné worked for Microsoft where for more than 12 years he served in a variety of senior policy and management roles in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Among his assignments was management of campaigns addressing complex legal, competition and policy challenges. Mr. Gagné previously was a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State and a partner in a Washington, D.C. law firm.
Mr. Gagne holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University, a master’s degree from Middlebury College and a juris doctorate degree from Duke University’s School of Law. He is a dual United States and UK citizen.
