Prominent Corporate Social Responsibility Expert Rejoins APCO

New York (January 11, 2017) – Julie Jack, former senior vice president of MSLGroup’s Corporate Practice, with more than 20 years of experience in the communications industry, has rejoined APCO Worldwide announced Nelson Fernandez, chairman North America and managing director of APCO’s New York office. Based in New York, Jack will serve as a senior director, helping lead APCO’s work in Sustainability & Purpose, corporate brand and issues management.

“Julie has a proven track record of advising clients, developing strategy and leading meaningful communications campaigns in the corporate social responsibility space,” said Fernandez. “Her addition strengthens our corporate offerings and enhances our Sustainability & Purpose practice. Julie was a key contributor to our team in New York during her 10 years at APCO, and we’re delighted to welcome her back.”

Jack joined MSLGroup in 2015, and served as a senior vice president in the firm’s corporate practice, where she advised clients in on corporate strategy, communication and responsibility issues.

Prior to joining MSLGroup, Jack spent 10 years in APCO’s New York office. She was a member of APCO’s North American leadership team, and helped the firm grow its presence in the New York market. Jack was also instrumental in growing the firm’s Sustainability & Purpose practice and corporate communications offerings.

Before joining APCO in 2005, Jack was a director in Burson-Marsteller’s Corporate Responsibility and Public Affairs practice, and previously worked for Showtime Networks, Wirthlin Worldwide and the American Forest & Paper Association.

Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of California, Davis and a master’s of business administration from Loyola College in Maryland.
