APCO Bolsters EMEA Operations

Online, technology, consumer goods, public affairs teams strengthened

London (March 23, 2007) – APCO Worldwide makes a series of new appointments and promotions in the London and Brussels offices, Brad Staples, chief executive officer of APCO’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region, announced today.

“The diversity of hires is a strong testimony to APCO’s seamless EMEA and international operations,” said Simon Miller, managing director of APCO’s London office. “This is also a reflection of APCO’s recent, steady growth.”

“Furthermore, the promotions illustrate APCO’s dynamic career planning. Our employees are highly motivated, deliver top-tier client service, proactively pursue new business opportunities, and are rightly rewarded for their hard work,” said Garry Walsh, managing director of APCO’s Brussels office.

Aude Athimon strengthens APCO’s online team as an online strategist in EMEA. She will support the development of new interactive business. Athimon joins from OgilvyOne, where she was an account director for Unilever’s European online strategy.

In London, Flora Monsaingeon, former associate for Burston-Marsteller in Beijing, comes to APCO primarily to provide support to information and communication technology (ICT) clients on corporate responsibility projects.

Magdalena Stepien, graduate from London School of Economics and Patrick Leahy, graduate from Cambridge University, join the company as project associates, supporting research and analysis projects for APCO’s clients.

Sarah Shepherd, former parliamentary assistant, starts as an associate in Brussels. She will be working in both Brussels and London to support international clients in the consumer goods industry.

In addition to the new hires, 10 promotions were recently announced in Brussels: Tresja Bolt, associate director, continues to effectively build APCO’s health care capability from Brussels, and leads the research and analysis team; Ylva Mozis and Paul Shaw, associate managers, take on additional management responsibilities in client programs and new business assignments; Ewa Hübner and Pauline Weinzierl, senior associates, respectively strengthen APCO’s services to governments and European competition practices; Alison Chambers, events manager; and, Pierre Delalande, Valentina Bastino, Nadine Heikamp and Jessica Cox, associate consultants.

In London, John Mandeville, associate manager, plays a leading role in sustaining APCO’s strong relationship with one of its most significant clients, the leading global ICT corporation, by consistently providing high levels of strategic support. Paul Stadlen, senior associate, continues to provide top quality strategic advice to Borouge, a leading provider of innovative plastic solutions, while Stephen Menaquale and Isabella Sharp grow into the associate role.
