SITA UK Hires APCOLondon (February 1, 2007) – SITA UK, a leading supplier of recycling and waste management services, today selected APCO Worldwide to provide communication support, according to Simon Miller, managing director of APCO’s London office. APCO’s work will include advising SITA UK on its relations with local and national government and the national communities in which the company operates. The work will be overseen by Miller, reporting to Per-Anders Hjort, chief executive officer of SITA UK. SITA UK’s customer base includes over 12 million residents and 35,000 businesses.
