Julie Jack

Julie Jack, vice president in APCO Worldwide’s New York office, has experience in corporate reputation, corporate responsibility and issues management.

Ms. Jack joined APCO Worldwide from Burson-Marsteller, where she was a director in the public affairs practice. While there, Ms. Jack specialized in developing and implementing corporate reputation and responsibility strategies for companies in the pharmaceutical, technology, consumer products, energy and retail sectors. She also consulted stakeholder engagement strategies, strategic philanthropy, corporate responsibility reporting and communication, issue management and policy development. Clients included AstraZeneca, Miller Brewing Company, Unilever, Altria, Nicor, Inc., Office Depot, and The Coca-Cola Company.

Ms. Jack came to New York in 2001 from Washington, D.C., where she spent more than six years working with the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA). While there, she helped develop a code of conduct for forest management – the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI). The SFI program, which now covers over 150 million acres of land across North America, is a standard for forestland management and procurement, compatible with ISO 14000. Ms. Jack was responsible for grassroots organization and marketing and communication. Ms. Jack also worked for Wirthlin Worldwide where she consulted on marketing and communication strategy, corporate image assessment and positioning and public issue campaigns.

Ms. Jack holds an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Davis in international relations and Spanish and earned a Master of Business Administration from Loyola College with an emphasis in international business.
