Laura Bacci

Laura Bacci, associate director in APCO Worldwide’s Brussels office assists clients across a variety of sectors with their marketing communication strategies and initiatives.

For more than 10 years she has worked with a wide range of made-to-measure marketing tools, including print and online materials (reports, newsletters, Web sites), advertising (print, online, TV, outdoors), video, photography and top-tier events.

Prior to joining APCO, Ms. Bacci was responsible for the development, management and implementation of pan-European marketing communication strategies to support public affairs programs in the ICT, insurance, automotive, and consumer goods industries at GPlus Europe.

Ms. Bacci began her career in London working as a media research analyst specializing in telecommunications, Internet and pay-TV content provision before joining the British Government Information and Communications Service (GICS) and the UK Department of Trade and Industry where she worked on science, technology, industry and consumer affairs communication campaigns.

In Brussels, Ms. Bacci worked for both a European nongovernmental organization (NGO) and a trade association. While at the NGO she managed communication activities related to youth, education and life-long learning. While at the trade association, she was responsible for developing communication strategies, coordinating communication campaigns and reevaluating communication materials for the paper-based industry.

Ms. Bacci has a degree in Russian studies from the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (UCL) in London, a master’s degree in communication policy studies from City University and a master’s degree in marketing from the University of Central England. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK. Bilingual in Spanish and Catalan, she also speaks English and French fluently, and tries to maintain her Russian.
