Ouyang Jun

Ouyang Jun, associate director and chief representative of APCO Worldwide’s office in Guangzhou has extensive experience assisting clients with investment issues and government relations in the energy and mining sectors.

Mr. Jun joined APCO after serving as the business development executive of Leighton Asia, where he established and managed the firms Beijing office, providing government engagement support and spearheading investment projects in infrastructure, energy, mining and other sectors.

Prior to working for Leighton Asia, Mr. Jun held management positions at the Australian Embassy in Beijing, where he acted as a liaison for the government and provided consulting services to Australian companies on investment and commercial issues in China.

Earlier on in his career, Mr. Jun held various posts in the Chinese government, serving as the deputy division chief of the Foreign Affairs Centre, China State Administration of Work Safety, as well as a deputy division chief in the former China State Administration of Coal Industry.

Mr. Jun received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the Beijing Machinery Industry Institute. He is fluent in Mandarin and English.
