Berenice Voets
Berenice Voets is an associate director in APCO Worldwide's corporate advisory and public affairs practice in the Shanghai office. Ms. Voets has sectoral expertise in energy, food and beverage and health care policy. She has experience in government relations, marketing and corporate responsibility (CR). As a member of APCO worldwide's health care practice, she has lead major healthcare projects across Asia. She is also part of APCO's CR team in China.
Ms. Voets began her career in marketing. Between 1997 and 2002, she worked in France for Nestle and Pinault Printemps Redoute on marketing, change management and e-commerce projects. Arriving in Asia seven years ago, Ms. Voets worked in Singapore on developing a CR program for a leading international pharmaceutical company to extend access to HBV medication to poor populations in India. In 2006, she joined the European Union Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, where she participated in the launch of a CR industry platform. Shen continues to play an active role in EuroCham's food and beverage working group.
Ms. Voets completed a masters in business management and administration at EDHEC Business School in France (1997) and a Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy - Harvard Kennedy School joint master's degree in public policy in Singapore (2005). She is fluent in French and English, speaks conversational Spanish and Portuguese and has notions in Dutch and Mandarin Chinese.
