APCO Strengthens Online Team with Key European Hire
Washington, D.C. (July 26, 2006) – David King, a leading online communication consultant since 1993, is joining APCO Worldwide’s global team as associate director, Evan Kraus, senior vice president and director of APCO Online®, announced today.

King has provided strategic advice throughout his career to clients such as Nestlé, telecoms giant Orange, Pepsi, Reckitt Benckiser home care brands, UNICEF, Hilton International, Lloyds TSB, Siemens, Procter & Gamble, Royal Mail, Kraft Foods International, Shell, Ford, Sun Microsystems, Heineken, Diageo/UDV, Kellogg’s and Telefonica.
Prior to joining APCO, King was managing director of Fullsix UK. Earlier in his career King was managing director, Europe, Middle East and Africa, of Digital@JWT, the digital solutions subsidiary of the J. Walter Thompson Company. He oversaw operations in London, Paris, Milan, Berlin, Helsinki, Amsterdam, Madrid, Jeddah, Lisbon, Zurich, Athens, Warsaw, Prague and Tel Aviv. He has extensive experience with integrating marketing, creative and information technology delivering cutting edge, multi-channel relationship marketing strategies.
King moved to the United Kingdom in 1997, and served as chief executive officer of Icon Medialab UK (now LB Icon). He grew the company from four staff and no clients to 90 professionals providing Internet, intranet, extranet and ecommerce solutions for a number of high-end clients. Prior to joining Icon Medialab, King served as founder and managing partner of DDB Interactive, the new media/new technologies division of DDB Needham Worldwide Communications Group in Dallas and New York.
