APCO opened its Moscow office in 1989 to assist clients in pursuing international commercial opportunities in Russia. Today, APCO's Moscow office continues to offer market services, helping clients explore options and implement business plans, including a full range of technology and new media (Internet) services.

Over the years as the market has matured, APCO's Moscow office has grown dramatically, and the capabilities of the office have expanded to include a full range of strategic communication and public affairs services.

Since 2000, the office has helped clients communicate more effectively with the news media and the public and has assisted Russian companies in developing and implementing corporate positioning programs in the United States and Europe. APCO's Moscow office has developed effective communication and government relations programs in a number of sectors, including consumer goods and manufacturing, transportation, technology, energy, financial services, healthcare, tourism and philanthropy.
