The practice in the Chicago office focuses on four main areas:
- crisis/litigation communication: In litigation and other crisis situations, we help clients manage the public environment. This includes providing counsel to companies and organizations planning for and responding to crises of all kinds, ranging from financial issues to product recalls to regulatory activity.
- public affairs: We work with companies and organizations whose operations may be impacted by regulatory or legislative decisions at a local or national level, to develop public outreach strategies.
- corporate reputation: We assist companies, universities and nonprofit organizations in developing key messages and strategies to protect and enhance their most important asset – their reputation – among internal and external audiences.
- media relations: We have a strong record of helping clients reach key audiences through the media. With a deep understanding of how news organizations operate, and years of experience working with local and national reporters, APCO’s team of media experts offers clients comprehensive media planning, training and implementation.
