Our learning and development program provides a holistic approach to learning so that all employees can gain the skills and industry knowledge necessary to be great consultants. It’s formally structured around APCO’s core competencies: leadership, account management, people management, business development, client service and foundational skills. Each curriculum lists core and elective courses that are tailored specifically to employees’ skills and responsibility levels within the organization creating plenty of opportunities for employees to learn and grow professionally.
The learning and development program is key to ensure our employees provide the highest quality service to our clients. We run more than 20 core courses across the organization on a rotational basis so that all employees can have an opportunity to take them at their convenience, while also managing day-to-day workload. Most of our trainers are internal subject-matter experts who share best practices, tips and real-life examples so that participants can get the most relevant information from the training. By providing a comprehensive career development-path for our employees with real world experience, APCO University enables all employees to take advantage of learning opportunities at their current level and strengthen their skills for future growth opportunities too.
