Larry E. Snoddon

Larry E. Snoddon, member of APCO Worldwide’s International Advisory Council and company vice chairman, plays an active role in senior client counsel and strategic development of the firm.

Throughout his career, Mr. Snoddon has been deeply involved in corporate strategic communication, corporate governance, investor relations, public affairs, financial services and the health care field. He has also supervised global corporate and crisis management programs.

Prior to joining APCO, Mr. Snoddon was vice chairman and a member of the executive committee and board of directors of Young & Rubicam Inc. He also served as worldwide president and chief executive office for Burson-Marsteller. Earlier, he worked in the corporate public relations departments of the American Express Company and General Motors Corporation.

Mr. Snoddon has worked with Merrill Lynch, CBS Inc., DuPont, Accenture, Sun Microsystems, Coca-Cola, Nike, Pfizer, Merck, Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline, among others. He was also principal advisor to the Dolder Group of CEOs in the formation of Pharmaceutical Partners for Better Health Care, based in Switzerland.

Mr. Snoddon has served as one of two public directors on the National Board of the American Institute of Architects and the Isle of Man Broadcasting Corporation. He also is a director of the hedge fund Marathon Capital Growth Partners. He is a fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts in London and previously served as a trustee of the U.S.-China Arts Exchange of Columbia University.
