APCO Worldwide Announces New Managing Director in Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv (October 23, 2012) – Roi Feder will succeed Gad Ben-Ari as managing director of APCO's Tel Aviv office, Brad Staples, APCO's president, international, announced today. Ben-Ari will become a senior advisor to APCO, joining with Ambassador Itamar Rabinovich in providing ongoing senior counsel and strategic guidance to APCO clients and the company's management team in Israel.

Feder was formerly a director in APCO's Tel Aviv office and has worked for the firm in Israel for more than seven years. He was instrumental, under Ben-Ari's leadership, in successfully establishing APCO's office in the market.

Prior to joining APCO, Feder worked as a public policy program coordinator in the Washington, D.C., office of the Union for Reform Judaism (the advocacy arm of the Reform Movement) which lobbies Congress and the U.S. administration on domestic and international issues of importance to its 1.5 million constituents.

Ben-Ari served as managing director for APCO’s Tel Aviv office since the firm established operations in Israel eight years ago. He helped the office build up particularly strong expertise in sectors such as energy and clean tech, and services such as trade and investment policy. Ben-Ari will now serve as a senior advisor for APCO in Israel, alongside Ambassador Itamar Rabinovich, former Israeli ambassador to the U.S. and former president of Tel Aviv University. Ambassador Rabinovich will continue to provide high-level strategic counsel to our clients in the market, as well as advising and guiding the new management team in Tel Aviv.
