CEO CORNER
The Arab Spring and its repercussions, not just within the Middle East but around the world, have dominated media headlines and discussions. The impact is still not known, and I doubt that we have seen the end of it. In a
recent study we conducted, Western opinion leaders believe the Arab Spring will transform the Middle East, bringing a sea change in Arab politics and societies.
In April we
convened a group of our own expert analysts, who pointed out that the waves of regime change sweeping the Middle East suggest "anxious days ahead" for companies who do business in the region. fundamentally strong in science and technology, a government committed to Indian
agriculture and an economy that is on the verge of double-digit growth, and you
should have the makings of a bumper harvest.
